My journey in the steel industry began over two decades ago with BlueScope Steel in Australia—a formative experience that fueled my passion for the industry and laid the foundation for what would become Steel Masters International (SMI). In 2003, driven by a vision to create a company rooted in integrity, innovation, quality, and customer-centricity, I established SMI in the Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai.

Since then, SMI has grown into a trusted name in the global steel market, building enduring partnerships with some of the world’s leading steel mills, including Unicoil (KSA), BlueScope Steel and OneSteel (now InfraBuild) of Australia, Acciaieria Arvedi of Italy, Al Ghurair Iron and Steel of the UAE, and several esteemed steel and aluminum producers across Vietnam, China, and India.

Our ambition didn’t stop at trading. We expanded into manufacturing with the creation of Dependable Steel FZE (DS) in Umm Al Quwain, where we produce high-quality components such as Deck Profiles (2WH-36 and 3WH-36), Purlins (C & Z profiles), Storage Sheds, and customized Flashings—broadening our capabilities to offer complete, value-driven solutions to our clients.
